Promoting website in specific country

I had better luck targeting local traffic by using country-specific hashtags on social media and posting at times when people in that region are most active. Ran a few local giveaways too.

I ran into the same issue when I was promoting my site in a specific country. What really helped was focusing on local keywords and building links from country-specific websites. I also tested different domain structures like ccTLD versus subfolders. If you're still figuring things out, I used startup seo to handle most of the heavy lifting, and they really got the job done without overcomplicating it.

For an international travel website, I think it works better to treat each country separately instead of trying to promote the whole site with the same strategy. Local keywords, translated content, country-specific travel communities and relevant local backlinks usually make much more sense.

I’m currently working on a travel project called JunketJ, which covers hotels and VIP travel services in different destinations, so we’re testing this approach by promoting individual destinations separately rather than using one global campaign.

I’d also be interested to know whether anyone here has had better results with country-specific landing pages or with one multilingual domain.
