Hi everyone! I’m planning my first trip to Indonesia soon and would love some advice. I know Bali is the most popular destination, but I’d like to explore beyond that. Maybe some underrated islands, cultural spots, or unique experiences.

What are your must-visit places, food recommendations, or travel tips for first-timers? I’d love to hear about your favorite hidden gems.

Hii there! When are you going? Are you going solo or with friends? Depending on the time you go I would suggest different things, but I think it's better to avoid winter months there bc it's the rainy season for them. As for the destinations sure thing but i can also only send you guides bc I don't know exactly what you like. I can recommend looking at forums and travel blogs like this one yes, also when I planned my trip i used tripadvisor, ferryhopper, reddit, lonely planet etc. I can gladly help you if you want to give more infos on your trip ^^
