Cheap Flights

Hi everyone,

I’m starting to plan a trip and trying to keep the flight cost as low as possible. For those of you who regularly find good deals, what’s your usual approach? Do you book far in advance or use specific tools to track price drops?

I came across this older discussion and wanted to add that I’ve had good luck using price alerts and checking nearby airports, even smaller ones. Sometimes shifting my travel dates by a day or two drops the fare a lot. Has anyone here tried booking flights during odd hours, like late at night or early morning? I’m curious if that still makes a difference.

I usually set price alerts, stay flexible with dates, and pounce when something drops. For premium cabins, I’ve saved a chunk by booking through travelbusinessclass.com, which surprised me with deals I couldn’t find on search engines. Mixing that with midweek departures and avoiding popular routes has kept my costs way lower than I expected.

I usually start tracking flights 1–2 months in advance and use tools like Google Flights or Skyscanner alerts to monitor price drops. Being flexible with travel dates and flying mid-week has also helped me find much cheaper fares.
