Whether you're visiting Mexico for the first time, returning to explore somewhere new or you live in Mexico and have local knowledge to share, we'd love you to join the discussion.

Planning a Trip to Mexico?

If you're organising a Mexico holiday and have questions, start a new thread and ask the forum4travel community.

You can ask about almost any aspect of travelling in Mexico, including:

  • Best places to visit in Mexico
  • Mexico itineraries and road trips
  • Cancún and Riviera Maya holidays
  • Mexico City travel advice
  • Tulum and Playa del Carmen
  • Oaxaca and Mexican food
  • Puerto Vallarta holidays
  • Los Cabos and Baja California
  • Yucatán Peninsula travel
  • Chichén Itzá and Maya archaeological sites
  • Cenotes and beaches
  • Hotels and all-inclusive resorts
  • Flights and airports
  • Buses, car hire and getting around Mexico
  • Solo travel in Mexico
  • Family holidays
  • Backpacking and budget travel
  • Travel safety and current conditions
  • Currency, tipping and travel costs
  • Mexican food and restaurants
  • Day trips, tours and excursions
  • Best time of year to visit Mexico
Don't worry if your question seems simple. Information from travellers who have actually visited a destination can often be far more useful than a generic travel guide.

Discover Mexico City

Mexico City is one of the world's great city-break destinations, combining historic neighbourhoods, museums, markets, restaurants, parks and an enormous variety of things to see and do.

If you've visited Mexico City, consider starting a discussion about your experience.

Useful topics might include:

Best areas to stay in Mexico City
Mexico City itinerary for 3, 5 or 7 days
Best things to do in Mexico City
Mexico City airport transport
Day trip from Mexico City to Teotihuacán
Where to eat in Mexico City

First-hand recommendations about neighbourhoods, transport and places to eat can be particularly helpful to travellers planning their first visit.

Cancún, Riviera Maya, Tulum & Playa del Carmen

The Caribbean coast is one of Mexico's best-known holiday regions.

Use the forum to discuss Cancún hotels, Riviera Maya resorts, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres and the many attractions throughout Quintana Roo and the Yucatán Peninsula.

Questions and trip reports could cover subjects such as:

Cancún vs Playa del Carmen – which is better?
Best all-inclusive resorts in Cancún
Things to do in Riviera Maya
Is Tulum worth visiting?
Best cenotes near Cancún and Playa del Carmen
Cancún airport transfers and transport
Best day trips from Cancún

Mexico's official tourism site also highlights destinations throughout the Yucatán and Maya Caribbean alongside regions across the rest of the country. (Visit Mexico)

Explore Beyond the Main Resorts

There is much more to Mexico than its major beach resorts.

Travellers can also exchange advice about destinations such as Oaxaca, Guadalajara, Mérida, Puebla, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Puerto Vallarta, Baja California, Los Cabos and Chiapas.

If you've discovered somewhere memorable, tell other travellers about it.

It doesn't need to be a long travel guide. A short post about a town, beach, restaurant, hotel, attraction or journey can become valuable information for someone planning their own trip.

Share Your Mexico Travel Experience

Have you recently travelled around Mexico?

Start a thread and tell us about your trip.

You could write about:

  • Where you stayed
  • Your Mexico itinerary
  • Places you would recommend
  • Hotels or resorts you enjoyed
  • Restaurants and local food
  • Beaches worth visiting
  • Archaeological sites and attractions
  • Transport and getting around
  • What your trip cost
  • Things you would do differently
  • Places that exceeded your expectations
  • Useful tips for first-time visitors
  • Photographs from your travels
Even a few paragraphs can help another traveller.

Help Other Travellers Plan Their Mexico Holiday

If you've travelled extensively in Mexico, live there or regularly visit, your knowledge is especially welcome.

Answer questions, recommend destinations and share practical information that travellers may struggle to find elsewhere.

Real experiences are what make a travel community useful.

If someone asks about a destination you've visited, add a reply. Your recommendation about a neighbourhood, hotel, beach, restaurant, bus journey or day trip might make a significant difference to their holiday.

Start a Mexico Travel Discussion

Not sure what to post?

Here are some thread ideas:

Where should I spend two weeks in Mexico?

Cancún or Riviera Maya for a first Mexico holiday?

10-day Mexico itinerary – where should we visit?

Best areas to stay in Mexico City for first-time visitors

Is Oaxaca worth adding to a Mexico itinerary?

Best beaches in Mexico

Puerto Vallarta or Los Cabos – what are the differences?

Best time of year to visit the Yucatán Peninsula

How easy is it to travel around Mexico without a car?

What are your favourite places in Mexico?

Using a descriptive thread title also helps other travellers find your discussion through forum search and search engines. This is consistent with forum4travel's existing posting guidance.

# Best Morocco Tours with Sahara Serenity Tours

Morocco is a country of striking contrasts: lively medinas, mountain villages, Atlantic beaches, and vast desert landscapes. The best way to experience its variety is with a thoughtfully planned tour that balances famous highlights with time to slow down and enjoy the journey. Sahara Serenity Tours offers travelers a way to explore Morocco through immersive routes, local experiences, and unforgettable desert scenery.

## What makes a Morocco tour memorable?

A rewarding trip is about more than checking landmarks off a list. It might mean wandering the maze-like streets of an old medina, sharing a tagine over mint tea, watching the light change across the Atlas Mountains, or spending a quiet evening beneath a sky full of desert stars.

A well-designed itinerary also accounts for Morocco’s distances. Road journeys can be long, so comfortable transport, knowledgeable guides, and well-paced stops make a real difference.

## Popular tours to consider

### Sahara Desert tours

For many visitors, the Sahara is the highlight of Morocco. A desert tour can take you through the High Atlas Mountains and traditional kasbahs toward the dunes, with opportunities to ride a camel, watch sunset over the sand, and spend the night at a desert camp.

The experience varies by route and season. Ask about driving times, camp facilities, meals, and whether the itinerary includes time to explore rather than simply crossing the desert.

### Imperial cities and cultural tours

Morocco’s historic cities offer a vivid introduction to the country’s architecture and traditions. Depending on the itinerary, you may visit destinations such as Marrakech, Fes, Rabat, and Meknes. Guided walks can help bring the medinas, palaces, gardens, and artisan quarters to life.

### Atlas Mountains and village experiences

A journey into the Atlas Mountains offers a change of pace from the cities. Travelers can enjoy mountain scenery, visit local villages, and learn about regional food and customs. Walking options may range from gentle outings to more demanding hikes, so it’s worth choosing a route that suits your fitness and interests.

### Coastal escapes

Morocco’s coastline is a refreshing addition to a city or desert itinerary. Coastal towns offer fresh seafood, ocean views, and a more relaxed atmosphere. They can make a good final stop after a busy route through the interior.

## Why travel with Sahara Serenity Tours?

A tour operator can simplify the practical side of travel while helping you make more of each stop. Sahara Serenity Tours can help arrange transportation, guides, accommodations, and desert experiences as part of a coordinated itinerary. Before booking, confirm what is included, the group size, accommodation standards, cancellation terms, and whether the route can be customized.

If you have particular priorities—such as photography, family travel, food, hiking, or extra time in the desert—share them when planning. The right itinerary should fit your pace, not just follow a standard route.

## Tips for planning your trip

- **Choose your season:** Temperatures vary widely between the coast, mountains, and desert. Check conditions for every region on your route.
- **Allow enough time:** Avoid squeezing too many cities and long drives into a short visit.
- **Pack for changing conditions:** Bring comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and layers for cooler evenings.
- **Respect local customs:** Modest clothing in some settings and asking before photographing people are thoughtful practices.
- **Confirm the details:** Check transport, meals, lodging, guide arrangements, and any optional activities before you book.

## Discover Morocco at your own pace

From the energy of Marrakech to the stillness of the Sahara, Morocco rewards travelers who make room for both discovery and downtime. With a carefully planned route, a desert journey can become part of a richer experience of the country’s landscapes and culture. Sahara Serenity Tours can help bring those elements together—whether you’re seeking a short desert escape or a longer journey across Morocco.

Just got back from a trip to Himachal with a few friends, and I wanted to share our experience staying at the Luxury Camps in Bir Billing with Tatva Bir Resorts.

Half our group really wanted to do outdoor camping, while the rest of us didn't want to compromise on a cozy bed and clean, private bathrooms. Booking these luxury camps ended up being the perfect sweet spot! You get all the scenic views and peaceful nature vibes, but with the actual comfort of a resort.

If you’re planning a trip with friends or family, I’d highly recommend exploring their Luxury Camps in Bir Billing at Tatva Bir Resorts for a relaxing escape!

Has anyone else stayed there recently? Would love to know if you tried any of their outdoor activities!

Heading to Chengdu soon and trying to avoid the usual souvenir-tea scramble inside Kuanzhai Alley (宽窄巷子).

I had better luck stepping just outside the scenic strip onto a normal neighborhood street and tasting a couple of short cups before packing anything. Emei Xueya (峨眉雪芽) was light and clean; Mengding Gan Lu (蒙顶甘露) felt a bit softer/rounder; jasmine Piao Xue (飘雪) was more perfume-forward if you want a floral gift. Loose leaf from a small bag worked for trying more than one kind.

The stop I used was 峨眉雪芽雪儿姐茶坊(宽窄巷子店) / Emei Xueya Xue'erjie Tea Shop (Kuanzhai Alley branch) at 成都市金牛区西安南路140号附2号 / No. 140-2 Xi'an South Road, Jinniu District, Chengdu. Hours were 09:00-22:00. Metro Line 4, Kuanzhai Alley Station (宽窄巷子站) Exit D, then about 100-200 m. Prices were marked and they let me taste before deciding.

If you have bought tea around Chengdu, did you stay inside the alley gift counters or look on the side streets? Any leaf that traveled well for everyday drinking vs gifts?
