A few things worth knowing before you go:
The Acropolis changed its rules. The old combined ticket was phased out in 2025, and timed entry is now mandatory you need to book a specific 15-minute slot online weeks in advance. The 8 AM slot is the move; by 10 AM the heat and cruise crowds make it much less enjoyable. Santorini Dave
New border system just launched. The EU's Entry/Exit System became fully operational across Schengen countries on April 10, 2026 passport stamps are being replaced by digital records, and you may need to give a facial image and fingerprints at the border. Not a big deal, but leave a buffer if you're connecting to a ferry or domestic flight right after landing. Santorini Dave
Santorini is fully back. There was a scare in early 2025 with seismic activity, but as of 2026 conditions have fully stabilized Greek authorities confirmed no ongoing concerns and tourism is running normally. Kids Love Greece
Is it safe? Short answer: yes. The U.S. State Department rates Greece Level 1 its lowest advisory level, meaning "exercise normal precautions." The real risks aren't what most people worry about. Violent crime against tourists is extremely rare. The bigger concerns are pickpocketing in crowded spots, summer heat exceeding 40°C, and scooter/ATV accidents on the islands which cause a disproportionate share of tourist injuries every year.
Best time to go? May or September hands down. You get the sun without the July–August madness.
If you're still sorting out flights, I used flight to Greece to compare options worth a look if you're in the planning stage.
Greece is genuinely one of those places that lives up to the hype. Just go in with a bit of common sense and you'll be fine.

Do you prefer exploring a destination popular for its landscapes? If yes, then you should not miss visiting Turkey. To be familiar with the amazing things to do in this destination, read the whole post.

Turkey is a beautiful country that represents the natural beauty and architectural landmarks. If you are a social media influencer and like to post your picture, this is a perfect place to capture the best photographs. This country shows the ongoing modernization of old buildings on the same plot of ground under the sun. Let's find out the best things to perform here.

Goreme National Park

Turkey has very colorful scenery. In the Goreme National Park, there is one such place. Walking is the greatest way to explore this area. This region has a distinct personality due to the stunning sedimentary rock formation that is the product of volcanic deposits in Cappadocia. The most unusual views of rock-cut churches and underground cities can be found in Cappadocia.

Visiting Cappadocia is one of the amazing activities to perform in Turkey.

Can't find the best things to do in Turkey? Ask Spirit Airlines team for help. Dial Spirit airlines teléfono and let them arrange a complete vacation to Turkey for ya.

Dervish

Dervish is a Sufi spiritual activity in which participants dance to music devoted to the divine. This has to do with spiritual disciplines known as Dhikr and Sama, which have been introduced by the Sufi saint Rumi.

Witnessing the graceful movements of Sufi dancers dressed in colorful costumes against the serene sound of spiritual music has the potential to be one of the most enlightening experiences of your life.

Nargile Bars

To maintain Turkey's wealthy society, the custom of using a communal hookah pipe adds another level to it. The richness of Turkish tobacco is evident in the Nargile bars. Simply take a puff at the modern cafes where the classic water pipe is offered together with coffee. As you take a puff with élan, the exquisitely decorated glass and wooden bottles of various sizes and shapes with a long pipe attached make you feel like a sultan.

Still looking up how to get to Turkey? try checking with Copa airlines en español team and know the best options you got.

Cemberlitas Hamami

The Cemberlitas Hamami is one of Turkey's most distinctive cultural hallmarks. The ancient Turkish bath promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is both incredibly calming and singular, but it also requires a small amount of initial hesitation to be broken. We recommend making a reservation for a bath early in the morning when you visit the location.

The Pamukkale Thermal

If you want to see the fascinating view of Turkey, then you need to visit the beautiful place; i.e., Pamukkale thermal pools. The thermal springs create the white, calcareous terrain that is rich in limestone.

It is the most visited place in Turkey that has the vast expanse of white countryside interspersed with layers of turquoise springs. We recommend exploring this place once to see the real beauty of Turkey.

I’ve been reminiscing about my trip to Turkey lately, and I realized how perfectly these three spots complement each other. If you're planning a trip, here is a quick breakdown of what makes each location so special:

1. Istanbul: Where East Meets West

Istanbul is a city of layers—history, food, and culture are everywhere you look.
  • Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosque: You can’t miss these architectural wonders; the history inside those walls is palpable.
  • Bosphorus Cruise: Taking a ferry at sunset is the best way to see the city skyline and the bridges connecting Europe and Asia.
  • Galata Tower: Head here for a 360-degree view of the city—it’s the perfect spot for photography.

2. Cappadocia: The Land of Fairy Chimneys

This is probably the most Instagrammable place on earth, but it’s even better in person.
  • Hot Air Balloon Ride: It’s an early wake-up call, but seeing hundreds of balloons rise over the rock formations at dawn is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
  • Goreme Open Air Museum: Explore the ancient cave churches and frescoes carved directly into the rock.
  • Stay in a Cave Hotel: For a unique experience, I highly recommend booking a room in a traditional cave dwelling.

3. Fethiye: The Turquoise Coast

After all that walking and exploring, Fethiye is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the Mediterranean.
  • Ölüdeniz & Blue Lagoon: The water here is incredibly clear. It’s also one of the best spots in the world for paragliding if you're an adrenaline junkie.
  • Butterfly Valley: Accessible only by boat or a very steep hike, this hidden beach is a serene escape from the crowds.
  • Saklikent Canyon: A great day trip where you can walk through the icy waters of one of the deepest canyons in the world.

Planning an Andaman trip from Central India usually depends on the season, hotel type, and how many days you want to stay. From what I checked while planning my own vacation, a normal 5–6 day package can cost anywhere between ₹22,000 to ₹45,000 per person including flights, hotel, ferry transfers, and sightseeing. Flight prices make the biggest difference, especially if you are traveling from cities like Bhopal, Nagpur, or Raipur. I noticed that booking early saved a good amount on airfare. There are many travel companies offering andaman and nicobar tour packages with different inclusions, so comparing 2–3 options is always helpful before booking. If your budget is limited, avoid peak holiday months because rates go much higher. I personally feel mid-season trips give the best value and less crowd too. Hope this helps with your planning.
