I see it’s been a while since anyone chimed in, but I just wanted to ask if anyone has tried The Sugar Palm lately—still worth a stop? I’m heading back to Siem Reap soon and looking for places with a good local vibe that aren’t too touristy. Also, has anyone checked out new spots that popped up post-pandemic? Curious how the food scene has changed.
 
I ate at Barrel & Co. in Rotorua after spotting it through a quick steakhouse near me search. The meat was cooked just right, and the prices weren’t bad either. They had this pepper sauce that really hit the spot. Not super fancy, but if you’re craving steak and want something chill, it’s worth checking out.
