Hi everyone,

I'm planning a safari trip to Tanzania and would love to hear from people who have been there. Which national parks would you recommend, and what is the best time of year to visit? I'm also interested in suggestions for reliable tour operators, accommodation, and any tips for first-time visitors.

Hi markos, a little late to the thread, but I thought I’d add my two cents. I’m based in Tanzania and work with a local safari operator and DMC, so this is very much my area.

For a first safari, I’d usually recommend Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The best time, though, really depends on what you want to experience.
