Renting a car in Georgia

I’m planning to travel around Georgia and I’m thinking about renting a car for part of the trip.

I’ll probably be driving outside Tbilisi as well, so I’m more interested in reliable rental company with clear insurance and rental terms than simply finding the cheapest price.

For anyone who has rented a car in Georgia recently, are there any local companies you’d recommend? Anything I should check before booking?

I’d check WeRent Georgia as one of the local options. They seem worth comparing with the other rental companies, especially if you’re planning to travel outside Tbilisi. I’d make sure to check the deposit, insurance and what’s included in the daily rate before booking.
