We want Forum4travel to stay helpful and enjoyable for everyone, so please avoid spam or self-promotion (self promotion is allowed if you are also adding genuine value to the forum).
- No advertising goods, services, or websites unless you are an official Forum4travel sponsor.
- No affiliate links of any kind.
- No posts created solely to promote your blog, YouTube channel, business, or social media.
You may include a link to your own website or social account only if you add genuine value to the discussion. - If you're starting a new thread, make sure it offers real interest or usefulness to other travellers.
For example, three lines of text and a link to your site is not adding value — it's just advertising, and such posts (or accounts) may be removed.
If you're ever unsure whether something is allowed, please ask a moderator before posting.
4. Stay on topic
When replying to a thread, keep your contributions relevant to the original discussion.
If you want to talk about something different, start a new topic.
5. Post in the correct section
Use the appropriate category (destinations, general travel, flights, visas, travel gear, etc.).
This helps other travellers find the information they need.
6. Avoid duplicate posts
Before posting a new question, please use the search function to check if the topic has already been covered.
7. No offensive or inappropriate content
This includes:
- Hate speech
- Political rants
- Adult or explicit content
- Illegal activity
- Shock or disturbing material
Let’s keep the forum family-friendly.
8. Protect your privacy
Do not post your personal contact details (email, phone number, address).
Avoid sharing sensitive information about yourself or others.
9. Use clear and helpful titles
Good titles help fellow members find what they need.
Example: “Best time to visit Japan?” instead of “Help!!”
10. No trolling or provoking arguments
