Best Free Attractions in Venice?

Hey everyone,

I'm planning a trip to Venice and looking for recommendations on the best places to visit without spending a fortune. I came across a list of Venice's Top Free Attractions, but I’d love to hear from those who have been there.

Which spots are truly worth visiting? Are there any hidden gems that aren’t on the usual lists? Also, any tips for enjoying Venice on a budget would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your suggestions

thanks in advance!

Hey! I was in Venice recently and honestly, just walking around felt like an experience in itself. St. Mark’s Square early in the morning was beautiful, and I loved the quiet vibe along Zattere in the evening. The Acqua Alta Bookshop was a fun little surprise too! These were all places you can enjoy without spending much, which made the trip even better. I jotted down my experience on Pinerary afterward, just in case it might be useful for anyone planning a similar trip (it's this one, if you're interested). Venice is amazing if you just let yourself wander. Enjoy your trip!

Hi @briankevin, we are planning a road trip in italy and would love to hear if you went already what you eventually did? venice feels like a must go, but to be fair it stresses me out a bit to include t, exactly bc it can get so touristy and hence expensive

@briankevin, One of my favorite things in Venice was just wandering the quiet back streets and watching daily life on the canals. Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge don’t cost anything and still feel magical. I’ve also found a few lesser-known campos and little gardens that are worth checking out, and shared them along with other Venice tips on our site: Allinclusive
