If you're searching for the cheapest Urbania van rent for Rishikesh from Delhi, keep in mind that toll charges (Delhi-Haridwar-Rishikesh route) and parking fees at your destination are billed separately as actuals and aren't included in the base per-km rate. Weekend and holiday travel (especially during Kanwar Yatra season or long weekends) may see slightly higher demand-based pricing from operators, so booking a few days in advance for a Delhi to Rishikesh group travel Urbania booking is advisable.

For those planning a Rishikesh Urbania van hire for family or corporate trips, the vehicle comes equipped with AC, pushback seats, and ample luggage space- ideal for river rafting trips, camping getaways, or spiritual retreats along the Ganges.

Quick tip: If your group plans to explore nearby Haridwar or Devprayag as part of the same trip, factor in the extra kilometers when requesting a quote, since most Urbania van rental packages are calculated on total distance covered, not just the direct Delhi-Rishikesh route.

At ₹35 per km with driver charges of ₹600 per day, a Delhi to Rishikesh Urbania van rental for a round trip (approximately 480-500 km garage-to-garage) costs around ₹17,500-₹18,500, plus ₹1,200 in driver allowance for a 2-day trip bringing the total to roughly ₹18,700-₹19,700.

FAQ

Q1. What is the price of a Delhi to Rishikesh Urbania Van booking?
The base fare starts at ₹35 per km, along with a driver allowance of ₹600 per day. A typical round trip of around 480–500 km usually costs ₹18,700 to ₹19,700, excluding toll taxes and parking charges.

Q2. Are toll taxes and parking charges included in the rental price?
No. Toll taxes, parking fees, state taxes (if applicable), and any entry charges are billed separately based on actual expenses.

Q3. How many people can travel in a Force Urbania Van?
Force Urbania Vans are available in different seating capacities, including 10, 13, and 17-seater variants, making them suitable for families, corporate teams, and tourist groups.

A Pilibhit Gypsy Safari can be an exciting and comfortable experience for families who want to explore the natural beauty and wildlife of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. The open Gypsy allows families to enjoy better views of the forest, spot birds, and look for wildlife in their natural habitat. It is also a convenient option for small groups, as the vehicle provides a more private and flexible safari experience compared with larger safari vehicles.

Pilibhit Gypsy Safari is particularly suitable for families because the ride can be more comfortable and personalized, allowing you to enjoy the jungle at your own pace. Children can also learn about wildlife, forests, and conservation while experiencing the reserve closely. However, families should follow all forest rules, listen to the safari guide, and avoid making loud noises during the drive. With proper planning and suitable safari timings, a Gypsy safari can make a memorable family wildlife adventure.

Heading back to Vietnam for the third time this year and figured I'd share what I've learned about the eVisa process since it trips up a lot of people on their first attempt.

The basics

You apply online at evisa.gov.vn — USD 25 for single entry, USD 50 for multiple. Both 30-day and 90-day validity cost the same, so always pick 90 days. Processing is 3–5 Vietnamese business days, which means if you apply Friday afternoon your clock doesn't start until Monday morning Vietnam time.

Where most people go wrong

The entry port field is the one that gets people. If you're flying from Australia or the US via Seoul, the transit airport is ICN — but your entry port needs to be the Vietnamese airport where you land (SGN for Ho Chi Minh City, HAN for Hanoi). The portal accepts ICN without flagging it, but immigration review catches it later and your application just... stops. No email, nothing.

Same issue with iPhone photos — the default HEIC format triggers errors. Change your camera settings to JPEG before you take the photo.

When you're cutting it close

I've used vietnamvisaeasy.com a couple of times when I've left it too late. They handle the application for you, check for the common errors before submitting, and have urgent tiers — 1-hour through to same-day weekend processing. Not cheap for the urgent stuff but when you're at the airport it's worth it. They also have a WhatsApp line that replies quickly.

Key things to double-check before submitting

  • Entry date = Vietnam arrival date, not your departure date from home
  • Entry port = Vietnamese airport (SGN/HAN/DAD), not your transit hub
  • Photo format = JPEG, white background, no glasses
  • Validity = 90 days (same price as 30)
  • Full legal name including all middle names from your passport MRZ
Happy to answer questions if anyone's stuck.

Langtang National Park_ Complete Guide to Wildlife, Permits, Trekking Routes & Everything You...webp

Tucked away just north of Kathmandu, Langtang National Park remains one of the Himalayas' most rewarding yet underrated destinations. While Everest and Annapurna often steal the spotlight, this protected wilderness offers an equally spectacular blend of towering peaks, glacier-fed valleys, rare wildlife, and centuries-old mountain culture — all within easier reach of the capital than its more famous neighbors.

A Park Born from Conservation

Established in 1976, Langtang holds the distinction of being Nepal's first national park in the Himalayan region and the fourth protected area in the country overall. Spanning roughly 1,710 square kilometers across the Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Sindhupalchok districts, the park stretches all the way to the Tibetan border, encompassing everything from subtropical forest at its lower elevations to glaciated peaks soaring past 7,000 meters. That elevational range is part of what makes the park so ecologically rich, supporting a patchwork of habitats within a relatively compact area.

Beyond its natural assets, the park was created to safeguard the cultural heritage of the surrounding region. Its valleys are home to Tamang and Hyolmo communities whose Buddhist traditions, monasteries, and mountain hospitality remain very much alive along the trekking trails today.

What Draws Trekkers Here

The park's centerpiece is Langtang Lirung, a dramatic 7,227-meter peak that dominates the skyline above Kyanjin Gompa, a historic monastery village that serves as a hub for trekkers exploring the valley. From there, adventurous hikers often push on to viewpoints like Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri, both offering sweeping panoramas of the surrounding Himalayan giants.

Further east, the sacred Gosainkunda Lakes draw both trekkers and pilgrims, their high-altitude waters held in reverence by Hindu and Buddhist traditions alike. Along the way, trails wind through forests of rhododendron, oak, pine, and bamboo, offering a constantly shifting backdrop of Himalayan flora.

For wildlife lovers, Langtang is something of a hidden gem. The park shelters more than 45 mammal species and upward of 250 recorded bird species, making it one of the richest wildlife habitats in Nepal. The elusive red panda is a particular highlight, along with musk deer, Himalayan tahr, and the rarely glimpsed snow leopard. Birders can look forward to spotting the Himalayan monal Nepal's vividly colored national bird as well as the blood pheasant, golden eagle, and the striking lammergeier, or bearded vulture.

Choosing a Route

Langtang offers several route options depending on the time and experience level of the trekker. The classic Langtang Valley Trek, typically completed in seven to ten days, runs from Syabrubesi to Kyanjin Gompa and is well suited to first-time Himalayan trekkers with reasonable fitness. The Gosainkunda Trek, at five to seven days, focuses on the pilgrimage lakes and passes through beautiful rhododendron forest. Those wanting a cultural focus can opt for the Helambu Trek, which winds through traditional Hyolmo villages over five to eight days.

More ambitious travelers sometimes combine the Langtang Valley and Gosainkunda routes into a twelve-to-fifteen-day journey, while the demanding Ganja La Pass Trek crossing a pass above 5,100 meters over two to nearly three weeks is reserved for well-prepared, high-altitude trekkers.

Permits and Practical Planning

Entry into the park requires a Langtang National Park permit, with fees varying by nationality foreign visitors currently pay more than SAARC nationals, while Nepali citizens and young children pay little to nothing. A Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card is generally required as well, something most registered trekking agencies handle on a group's behalf.

Current trekking regulations in Nepal generally require foreign visitors to hire a licensed guide for national park treks, including those in Langtang. Beyond meeting this requirement, a good guide adds real value — managing permits, navigating trail conditions, sharing insight into local culture and wildlife, and providing crucial support in the event of altitude-related issues.

When to Go

Each season offers a distinct version of Langtang. Spring, from March through May, brings blooming rhododendrons, clearer mountain views, and strong odds of wildlife sightings. Autumn, from September to November, is widely considered the most reliable season thanks to stable weather and excellent visibility. Winter transforms the valleys into a hushed, snow-draped landscape appealing to hardier adventurers, while the monsoon months of June through August bring wetter trails but noticeably fewer crowds and lower costs.

Final Thoughts

Langtang National Park distills much of what makes the Nepal Himalaya special dramatic peaks, rare wildlife, sacred lakes, and living mountain culture into a compact, accessible corner of the country. For trekkers looking to experience the high Himalaya without the crowds of Everest or Annapurna, Langtang deserves a serious look.

Hi everyone,

I recently traveled on an international flight and had a last-minute packing question that I see people ask all the time: can you bring hairspray on a plane? I use hairspray regularly, so I didn’t want to risk having it taken away at airport security.

From my experience, the answer is yes, you can usually bring hairspray on a plane, but there are a few important things to remember. I packed a travel-size hairspray bottle in my carry-on bag, and it went through security without any problems because it fit within the liquid and aerosol size limits. Larger aerosol cans are generally better placed in checked baggage, where airline rules usually allow limited quantities of personal care aerosols.

A few things that helped me avoid any issues:
  • Use a small travel-size hairspray bottle for carry-on luggage.
  • Keep it inside your clear liquids bag with your other toiletries.
  • Make sure the cap is secure so it cannot spray accidentally.
  • Check your airline’s rules if you are carrying a full-size aerosol hairspray can in checked baggage.
I was surprised by how easy the process was once I understood the hairspray plane rules for carry-on and checked bags. The security officers were much more concerned about oversized liquids than the hairspray itself.

For anyone searching can I take hairspray in hand luggage, my experience suggests that a travel-size container is usually the safest and easiest option. If you are carrying a larger bottle for a longer trip, I would put it in checked baggage and double-check the airline’s aerosol restrictions before leaving for the airport.

Hopefully this helps other travelers who are trying to decide whether hairspray is allowed on a plane. If anyone has flown recently with a full-size aerosol can, I’d be interested to hear how your airline handled it.

Keywords: can you bring hairspray on a plane, can I take hairspray in hand luggage, hairspray plane rules, carry-on aerosol restrictions, checked baggage hairspray, travel-size hairspray for flights
