Would India be your next destination?

I’m curious to know what attracts people most when they think about travelling around India.

Would you go mainly for the history and culture, the food, the mountains and landscapes, or the wildlife and tiger safaris?

There are so many very different experiences in one country, from the Taj Mahal and Rajasthan to Kerala, the Himalayas, and national parks in Central India.

If you’ve travelled to India before, which place would you recommend for a first-time visitor? And if you haven’t been yet, what would you most like to experience?

Would India be on your list for your next trip?

India is one of those places where picking just one reason to visit is hard. I went to Rajasthan a while back and started with Jaipur and Jodhpur, mostly for the forts and old streets, but ended up caring more about the food and random stops along the way. We had chai at tiny roadside places, tried way too many kachoris and spent an evening just walking around Udaipur near Lake Pichola. We booked the trip with boketto travels and we also had Kumbhalgarh and a couple of smaller stops in the plan. If it’s your first time in India, Rajasthan is a good place to start without trying to cover half the country in one trip.
