I am sure there are thousands of beautiful places to visit. The Himalaya has many natural wonders. But if I have to mention one, it will be the Mustang region in the trans-Himalayan region of Nepal. This is also featured in the book '1,000 Places to See Before You Die'. Mustang has the world's deepest gorge wedged between two 8,000 m peaks: Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. More than 10,000 sky caves perched on vertiginous cliffs hid medieval mural arts and artifacts. Dramatic, colorful landscapes with eroding cliffs, rock formations, and the Himalayas make every turn picturesque. Excavations and research of monuments have proved that Mustang is the oldest inhabited place in the Himalayas.
