Provide safe affordable room for ladies travelers in North Beach Area. French & English speaking
If you want to visit beautiful San Francisco as a single female, I can say it is a very safe city overall. There are some very bad neighborhoods around the Tenderloin area (drugs mostly) but even there , I never felt threatened. I highly recommend booking in Union Square or Fisherman Wharf areas, where most of popular tourists sites are located. However SF is a great city for hiking and there are so many other neighborhood worth seeing if you have the time. You do not need a car (hotels parking fees are crazy expensive 40 to 60 usd a night). Accommodations can get pricy and sometimes conventions or events make it even higher so plan ahead. Just use common sense and if you party at night make sure you get a Cab/Lyft/Uber, simple common sense. Happy travels !!
