Liverpool is more than just football and the Beatles!

I’ve visited many UK cities, but Liverpool has a unique energy that’s hard to beat. If you’re planning a trip to the UK, don't just stick to London—make sure to head north to this maritime gem!

What I love most about Liverpool is how walkable it is. You can spend your morning exploring the Royal Albert Dock, and by afternoon, you’re surrounded by stunning Victorian architecture in the St George's Quarter.

Two things you shouldn't miss:

  • The Baltic Triangle: It’s the city’s creative hub. Amazing street art, independent coffee shops, and the best nightlife vibes if you prefer something more "alternative" and local.
  • The Views: For the best view of the skyline, take the ferry across the Mersey or head to the top of the Anglican Cathedral.
The locals (Scousers) are probably the friendliest people I’ve met in England—always ready with a joke or a recommendation. It’s also much more affordable than many other major cities, which is a huge plus for budget travelers.

Is anyone else a fan of Liverpool? I'd love to hear your favorite hidden spots in the city!
