Kedarnath Dham is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is also a part of the Panch Kedar. Kedarnath Dham is located at one of the remotest locations and is believed to be built by the Pandavas. The temple is an architectural marvel for its ability to stand strong in the harsh terrains of nature.

Badrinath Dham is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Adi Shankaracharya found the idol of Lord Badri in the Alaknanda River and put it up in a cave near the Tapt Kund. A Garhwal King got the temple erected which came to be known as Badrinath Dham.

It is important to be physically and mentally ready to take this journey as it is quite a difficult one. The 4 Dham yatra is usually done during the May to June end and mid-September to the last date kapaat closed.

I guess it almost cost about 35k if you travel with group otherwise it would be costly , the immense significance and beauty of Chardham in Uttarakhand.
