I am planning my first trip to Istanbul and I feel both excited and a little overwhelmed. I have read so much about the city, but I would love to hear honest opinions from people who have already been there.
Is visiting Hagia Sophia truly as impressive as everyone says? I have seen countless photos, but does it still feel special when you stand inside? Is it very crowded during most of the day?
What about the Blue Mosque? Is it best to go early in the morning, or is the atmosphere just as beautiful later in the day? I am wondering if it feels peaceful or mostly busy with tourists.
I am also curious about the Grand Bazaar. Is it enjoyable to explore even if you are not planning to shop much? Did you find it fun to wander around, or did it feel too crowded? Thank you
