Beware of unprofessional online travel agents

I recently took Skyscanner's advice on an international trip and bought a ticket from Thrive Travel. It was on Friday afternoon. By Sunday I had not received confirmation by e-mail which was promised on their website. I found out that they sent my ticket and receipt to my emergency contact. I tried contacting them by e-mail and phone to no avail. On Monday noon I received a two line e-mail saying they will get back to me. Their phones are forever busy so there is no way to talk to an agent. This seems like a fake agency. BEWARE.
