I am grateful that you have considered our team at Roads of Adventure Safaris to assist you in planning how to spend the rest of your days in Uganda after gorilla trekking. I have organized my suggestions in an itinerary format for your convenience.

I have crafted two itineraries with activities to supplement your gorilla trekking experience. In both itineraries, I have prioritized relaxation after the strenuous trek in the impenetrable forest of Bwindi. You will visit Lake Bunyonyi, often regarded as the most beautiful lake in Africa, where you can enjoy canoeing, ziplining, cycling, and island hopping.

✅Itinerary One:

This itinerary includes a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you can take a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and go on a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains to see four of the Big Five: lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. Please note that this will require a slight diversion from your route back to Kampala.

✅Both itineraries also feature:

Lake Mburo National Park
, conveniently located en route back to Kampala. Here, you can see beautiful zebras, tall giraffes, common elands, hippos, and other wildlife. Activities available include horseback riding, cycling, walking safaris, and game drives.

✅I look forward to your feedback!
