Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Kampala
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Kampala. After settling in, take some time to explore the city. You can visit local markets or enjoy traditional Ugandan cuisine at a nearby restaurant. In the evening, relax and prepare for your upcoming wildlife encounters. This day sets the foundation for your safari, allowing you to recharge before heading to one of Uganda's remarkable national parks the following day.
Day 2: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the second day, you will depart early for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, celebrated for its mountain gorillas. The drive takes approximately 8-10 hours, presenting picturesque views of Uganda's countryside. Once you arrive, settle into your lodge and take a moment to refresh. In the afternoon, consider a nature walk or visit a nearby village to learn about local culture and traditions. This preparation will enhance your gorilla trekking experience scheduled for the following day.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Return to Kampala
On your final day, get ready for a memorable gorilla trekking activity in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Early in the morning, you will receive a briefing from park rangers before starting your trek through the forest. Along the way, you may see various wildlife. Spend meaningful moments observing the mountain gorillas in their natural surroundings. After your trek, return to your lodge for lunch. Later, you will travel back to Kampala, where you may have time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing before concluding your Uganda tour.
