Hello everyone! I’m planning a two-week trip to Banff, Canada, with my wife and two kids this October. Since it gets quite cold there at that time of year, I’ve been researching specialized gear and came across the inflatable tent section at RBM Outdoors. Specifically, I’m looking at the Coody 13.6 (Koala 5) in Beige, which is currently on sale for $1,899.00.
I have a few questions for those who might own one of these. First, how does the air-beam frame handle frost and light snow? I am a bit worried about the internal air pressure changing when the temperature drops significantly at night. Also, is the interior truly spacious enough to fit two queen-sized air mattresses along with a small heater? I want to make sure my family is comfortable and not cramped together. Lastly, how heavy is the packed bag? I will be solo-pitching it while my wife watches the kids, so I need to know if it is actually manageable for one person to move. Any advice or personal reviews would be greatly appreciated before I pull the trigger on this purchase!
Would you like me to find the specific weight and dimensions for this model from the product comparison charts?
