1. Adiyogi Shiva.
2. Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple.
3. Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple.
4. Dhyanalinga Temple.
5. Sripuram Golden Temple.
6. Brihadeeswara Temple.
7. Airavatesvara Temple.

A place to have a memorable walk over(Hills & Scenery):-
1. Nilgiri Mountain Railway
2. Coakers Walk
3. Mannavanur Lake
4. Yercaud
5. Meghamalai - High Wavy Mountains
6. 32-km Loop Road

These are my personal picks(I’ve visited these personally):-
1. Kodaikanal Lake
2. Pykara Lake
3. Wenlock Downs 9th Mile Shooting Point
4. Agasthiyar Falls

As the state's capital city, with beautiful temples, churches and beaches, Chennai is the best tourist destination in Tamil Nadu to really get to know South India and its way of life.
