Sure, places like South Beach, the Art Deco District, and Vizcaya Museum are on every tourist's list, but as a local, I can tell you, they aren't always as dreamy as they seem. Here's the truth:

  1. South Beach: It's beautiful, but the crowds? Insane. Expect sky-high prices for everything, from food to beach chairs.
  2. Art Deco District: Yes, it's colorful and historic, but it gets packed with tourists. It can feel more like a photo op than a peaceful stroll.
  3. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens: Stunning, no doubt, but don't expect perfection. Some parts of the museum could use a little TLC.
  4. Everglades National Park: It's huge, and wildlife sightings can be hit-or-miss. Plus, the park is vast, so plan accordingly if you want to actually explore it.
