A silent airport is one that promotes a calm environment for travelers by having low noise levels and a calm ambience. These airports often don't make many announcements and concentrate more on using a Flight Information Display System (FIDS) to provide flight information. Some of the silent Airports in India are listed below:

  1. Cochin International Airport (COK)
  2. Mumbai Airport (BOM)
  3. Chennai International Airport (MAA)
  4. Trivandrum International Airport (TRV)
  5. Chandigarh International Airport (IXC)
  6. Pune Airport (PNQ)
  7. Indore Airport (IDR)
