Moving cross-country roadtrip

Hey everyone, I’m moving from Seattle to Chicago soon and don’t want the drive to be just a straight, boring shot using Google maps. I’m down to take some detours and check out cool stuff along the way. Any suggestions on must-see spots or ways to make the road trip more fun?

I love Missoula, Jackson Hole, and so much in South Dakota! The Badlands are so underrated. There are definitely a few roadtrip-centric sites that have decent suggestions too.

I'm actually working with the National Scenic Byways Foundation to build Overlook Maps, a new GPS app that allows travelers to customize their routing experience as well as the points of interest and food options they see along the way. It will be going live later this year! Until its live, I'd really recommend checking out NSBF for great off-the-beaten-path roads to enhance your trip!

A cross-country road trip is an exciting way to explore diverse landscapes and cultures. To make the most of it, plan your route with key stops, pack essentials like snacks and a first-aid kit, and make sure your vehicle is road-ready. Whether you're moving or just exploring, it's important to take breaks and enjoy the journey. If you ever need a relaxing pit stop on your journey, consider staying at a Daman resort for a refreshing break by the sea.
