Is Kauai good for toddlers?

I've been traveling solo for a while now, and on a budget too, so I've gotten pretty good at finding those beaches. Here are a couple ideas:
  • Poipu Beach Park: This one's on the south shore, so it's calmer year-round. It's also got great facilities, like bathrooms and showers, which is always a plus with kids. Plus, the snorkeling there is pretty decent! There's usually a lifeguard on duty too, which is nice for peace of mind.
  • Anini Beach: This one's a bit more remote, but that's part of the charm. It's kind of tucked away off the main road, so it never gets too crowded. The water there is like glass, perfect for building sandcastles and splashing around. Just be aware there aren't any amenities there, so pack some snacks and drinks.
