I'll be traveling around France with 2 friends, and we’re trying to find the best eSIM option for our route. We’ll need about 10GB for 14 days. My budget is around $30.

Here’s the route:

Day 1: Avallon
Day 2: Vézelay
Day 3: Clamecy
Day 4: La Charité-sur-Loire
Day 5: Sancerre
Day 6: Saint-Amand-Montrond

I’ll be using an iPhone, one friend’s on a Samsung Galaxy, and the other has an iPad. We mainly need data for navigation and staying in touch with family. Any suggestions?

You're in luck for 10GB over 14 days since eSIM options in Europe have become affordable and flexible. Given your budget, I’d recommend checking out providers like Airalo or Holafly. Airalo, for example, has a France eSIM with 10GB of data for around $20–$30, and it should work well for both iPhone and Samsung Galaxy.

If you’re headed to France and want to stay connected in those smaller towns, an eSIM could be a great choice! With an eSIM, you’ll avoid the hassle of hunting down a local SIM and can usually set it up before you even land. It’s also a relief not to deal with extra physical SIM cards while traveling.
I’ve heard that https://internationalsimcard.com.au/ is a solid option for international eSIMs. They offer different data packages, so you should be able to find one that fits your needs, whether you’re just browsing or relying on GPS to explore all those charming, off-the-beaten-path spots. Plus, you can switch between networks if the signal is a bit patchy.

If you’re heading to France and need reliable data, especially in small towns, an eSIM is your best bet. I used a Matrix eSIM on my last trip, and it worked flawlessly from bustling Paris to quiet villages in Provence.
