Bologna is a city obsessed with food, and so, naturally, it has become one of the most popular foodie destinations in all of Italy. Many of the classic items that I learned to make in culinary school are all Bolognese, and staples like mortadella, prosciutto di Parma, and Parmigiano-Reggiano have origins nearby.
