Hey everyone, Chris Sky here! My family loves camping in Upstate New York during the summer months. There are so many amazing campgrounds that offer fun activities for kids and beautiful scenery.

Our hands-down favorite is North-South Lake Campground in the Catskills. We really enjoy hiking on the giant boulders, swimming in the crystal clear water, and renting a boat on the lake. The views are simply stunning too!

Another great spot is Fish Creek Campground in the Adirondacks. The location right on the lake and near several amazing hikes can't be beat. We also love pedaling around on our bikes through the sprawling campground trails.

If you're looking for more of a glamping experience, check out Learnin' at the Lodge in the Hudson Valley region. You get to sleep in these really cool safari tents, and they have engaging programs for kids like critter searches and STEM activities.

No matter which campground you choose, make sure to pack s'mores ingredients! Toasting marshmallows under the stars is one of the best parts of camping as a family. Happy camping!
