Having spent years traveling around the US, I can definitely help you with this Yosemite to Vegas drive.
July is brutally hot in Death Valley. Car interiors can soar past 100°F (38°C), making sightseeing pretty miserable. You'd have to stick to short bursts out of the car at viewpoints. It's a long haul, especially after Yosemite. You might be wiped by the time you reach Vegas, and miss the fun stuff that first night.
My Suggestion:

My Suggestion:
- Skip Death Valley in July: Save it for a cooler time of year. Trust me, it'll be way more enjoyable.
- Book a Hotel Near Vegas: Look for a hotel that might have a pool or other amenities to help you unwind after the drive. I prefer Travelarii for better deal.
- Consider a Scenic Stop: Instead of Death Valley, how about a stop at Mammoth Lakes on your way? It's a beautiful mountain town with stunning scenery and cooler temps. You could grab lunch there and enjoy a scenic break.
