Start the trip in Hanoi, where you can visit the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Then, continue to the beautiful Halong Bay for an overnight cruise among the limestone islands. You can then visit Ninh Binh for the wonderful scenery and take the Tam Coc boat trip. Next, take a train or a flight to Hue, the old imperial capital, to visit the ancient citadel and royal tombs. From Hue, proceed to the beautiful village of Hoi An, which is known for its well-preserved ancient town, lantern-lit streets, and amazing cuisine.

After that, head to Da Nang to see the Marble Mountains and the beaches. Then fly to Nha Trang for some beach and water activities. Travel south to the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), where you can see the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Ben Thanh Market. Lastly, plan a day trip to the Mekong Delta to see the floating marketplaces and lovely rivers.
